Even though I have been in retail for over ten years, the course has helped expand my knowledge on areas such as employment legislation, team development and the effectiveness of store operations.
The plumbing facilities at Boston College are great; the workshops are realistic and enable us to learn in an environment that closely represents that of industry.
I felt the time was right for career change and I wanted to learn a trade. An apprenticeship at College enables me to do this while still earning a wage.
We first start building up our skills and knowledge on rigs and then transition onto cars and go-karts. At PFI, we learn how to fix and re-build karts and then watch them race on the track.
The Graphic Design course allows me to focus and develop my interest of packaging and logos.
