Add to ShortlistThe BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Business course offers an innovative and engaging curriculum designed to develop essential business knowledge and practical skills. Covering key areas such as Exploring Business, Developing Marketing Campaigns, Personal and Business Finance, Managing Events, and Business Decision-making, the course provides a strong foundation for success in any business environment.
In addition to business knowledge, you will develop essential workplace skills, including competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as research, presentation, and time management skills. You will also gain hands-on experience in teamwork and leadership by planning and managing events and activities โ valuable skills that all employers seek.
No matter where your future takes you, this course will prepare you for the next step, whether thatโs progressing to University Level study, securing an Apprenticeship, or entering the workplace.
What will I do?
During the course, you will cover topics including:
- Exploring Business
- Developing a Marketing Campaign
- Personal and Business Finance
- Managing an Event
- International Business
- Principles of Management
Optional Topics:
- Team Building in Business
- Visual Merchandising
- Work Experience
In addition to your course, you may also study either Functional Skills or GCSE English and Maths, dependent on your current GCSE grade.
Entry Qualifications
To study Business Diploma Level 3, you will need to have 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (old GCSE grade C or above) or equivalent, including English or Maths.
Please note that relevant work experience may also be considered.
Attendance
The Business Diploma Level 3 will take you 2 years to complete. You will attend college from 9:00am-4:30pm for 3-4 days per week at our Rochford Campus in Boston. You will also be expected to complete a work placement, plus independent study.
Fees
The Business Diploma Level 3 is free, if you are under the age of 19 on 31 August of the year you start the course.
If you are aged 19+, this course will cost ยฃ4170.

How Will I Be Assessed
You will be assessed via assignments, presentations, and exams.
Where Could It Lead?
Successful completion of the Business Diploma Level 3 course can lead to careers in business specialisms such as Finance, Human Resources, Management, and Marketing. You could progress within employment to professional qualifications from organizations like the Chartered Institute of Marketing or management accountants.
Alternatively, you can progress to university to study Business, Marketing, International Business, Logistics, Human Resource Management, or related subjects, gaining deeper industry insights and expertise.
