Over the span of this course, you will learn the fundamentals of film production, from conceptualising ideas to executing them with industry-standard software, equipment, and techniques. The course covers essential topics such as research, storyboarding, camera work, lighting, sound design, and post-production editing, ensuring you gain a holistic understanding of the entire filmmaking process.

This course stands out by offering hands-on experience and practical training with industry-standard equipment and software. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will work on real-world projects, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios that are important to you.

At the end of the course, you will have produced a short film or video project that showcases your skills and creativity, ready to impress friends, family, potential employers, or customers. There is also a chance that your work could be showcased in the Boston College Film Festival.
