The Health Professions A Level Pathway offers a multidisciplinary approach to understanding human health and well-being. In A Level Psychology, you'll explore human behaviour and mental processes, essential for understanding patient dynamics and therapeutic interventions. A Level Sociology examines social inequalities, helping you address health disparities and promote equity in healthcare. A Level Biology delves into the biological aspects of health and disease, including physiology, genetics, and pharmacology, which are crucial for understanding illnesses, treatments, and advancements in medicine.

A Level Psychology:

A Level Biology:

You'll participate in 12 laboratory experiments, exploring biochemical tests, dissections, and organism movement. With a focus on practical skills, we prepare you for future studies and career growth in Biology's experimental realm.
To study the Health Professions A Level Pathway you will need to have 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above.
The Health Professions A Level Pathway will take you 2 years to complete. You will attend college for 4 days per week at our Rochford Campus in Boston.
The Health Professions A Level Pathway is free, if you are under the age of 19 on 31 August of the year you start the course.
The Health Professions A Level Pathway is assessed solely on examinations. Each one of the 3 A Levels that form the Health Professions A Level Pathway is assessed individually:
Successful completion of the Health Professions A Level Pathway will give you the skills and knowledge to progress on to the next step of your academic journey. . You can progress to Higher Education, through a University Level course or an Apprenticeship, or directly into employment in your chosen career.
