I have come to lecture straight from the film and corporate communications industry. To make sure that I am up-to-date with current trends and keeping fresh with the industry, I still dabble in camera operating when not lecturing.
I started out as most people in the industry will have, being a runner and affectionately named 'tea monkey' in the very prestigious Saatchi and Saatchi building in London. After I passed the first hurdle I began to work my way up to becoming a camera operator, whilst also producing, writing and directing pieces along the way. I have worked for many global and prestigious brands including, but not limited to Sony, Haagen Dazs, Centre Parcs and National Grid.
Academically I studied Media Production at the University of Lincoln, I then continued to further my knowledge by completing an MA (Dist) in Film Production. I was fortunate enough to be given this highest MA mark that the University has ever had, whilst also receiving the Award of Excellence in Media Production.
I currently have an internationally acknowledged short film doing the festival rounds in places such as California, Ohio, Mississippi, as well as throughout Europe.
