Adventurous people looking for a high-flying career can choose from a range of courses at Boston College focused on the rapidly expanding Travel and Tourism industry.
As a grade 1 area Boston College's Travel and Tourism team stands out from other learning providers, not only because of our expert staff, but also because we can offer you a range of additional courses to compliment your full time studies. These include certificates for Resort Representatives, Airline Cabin Crew and qualifications in Spanish, plus the ABTAC Travel Agency Award which includes the Travel Insurance exam. Visits to tourist sites in Britain and abroad are an integral part of full-time courses, and Airline Cabin Crew learners benefit from our in-house airliner equipment.

Half German and half English, Franziska already finds herself well equipt for the Travel and Tourism industry. Initially she enrolled on some A Level programmes at Boston College only to find that they were not suited to what she wanted.
“I decided to enrol on a Travel and Tourism course as it was something I was really interested in. Over the past two years I have enjoyed a range of teamwork, customer service and cabin crew activities as well as been able to challenge my individual skills”.
Franziska has found the College to be a nice, relaxed, friendly environment with excellent facilities, having given her the basis to move on to university.
“In September I am going to study Hospitality Tourism Business Management at Sheffield Hallam University, and following this I hope to move into the industry of Hotel Management, staying within the UK at first to gain experience and then maybe expand further a field, to other countries”.
