English and Maths Support for Adults - Skills for Life

As many as 1 in 4 adults across the UK need some help to improve their English, Maths or IT skills. Last year, we helped over 900 people improve their English and Maths skills through our award winning Skills for Life classes. These courses are run at numerous venues including the Goodliffe Centre (at the Rochford Campus, Boston), in the community and in the workplace. You can learn at a time to suit you and you will get a nationally recognised qualification up to level 2 in Literacy or Numeracy to help improve your confidence and job prospects. If you or someone you know needs our support, call us now on 01205 313218 for a confidential interview.

Sign up anytime, these courses run throughout the year!

Case Study : Roy Ireland

“College has changed my life; I used to struggle with Maths so I came to College to brush up on the subject. I left school without many qualifications, you did not really need them then and I went straight into an Apprenticeship in Engineering. Now you need the bits of paper and the qualifications to be able to do the job. I am now going to continue my studying and get qualifications in electrical engineering. You should never stop learning. The members of staff have been brilliant, very supportive right since the first phone call. I have found the College to be a very friendly place and I would highly recommend it”

We've won national awards for all sorts of things, which its very tempting to brag about, and by all objective measures we have a very good college here, but what you will want to know is whats in it for you? Will we help you move forward in life and work in the way you need it to?
