The below shows how different qualifications compare with one another, as well as the progression route you could take.


Entry L​evel

Entry Level qualifications can help you build skills, increase your knowledge and boost your confidence. No entry requirements.


Progress to: A range of courses at Level 1

NVQ 1
BTEC Introductory Level
Real Skills for Work
Traineeships
Courses for the Unemployed


Progress to: A range of courses at Level 2 or employment

  • GCSE grades A* - C
  • Intermediate Apprenticeship

    BTEC First Diplomas
 

Progress to: A range of courses at Level 3 or employment

  • AS/A2 Levels

We offer many short courses that provide you with an introduction to a new skill, whilst meeting new people and having fun! Bite-size courses can vary from a few hours to a few weeks, and many of them are Free!
